Bringing Subaru's golden age of rallying back to the present day.

Subaru's rally works activities, which began with the Leone in 1972, ultimately led to three WRC Manufacturers' Championships and three Drivers' Championships, before coming to an end at the end of the 2008 season.
After that, Arai Motorsports shifted to semi-works activities in PWRC and the All Japan Rally Championship, as well as customer service, which continues to this day.

For the sake of these devoted Subaru fans, we propose a new rally participation project. We will build a new Group A Impreza 555 (GC8) that complies with modern FIA safety regulations, and with Toshihiro Arai as the driver, we will participate in the FIA European Historic Rally Championship.

The most exciting period in Subaru's rally activities was arguably the Group A era when the Impreza debuted, and then the early 2000s when the WR car regulations changed and they won the WRC championship. Imagine a current Subaru legend driver taking a car from that golden age of Subaru on a European tour, going head-to-head against Jari-Matti Latvala's Toyota Celica (ST185) in the "FIA European Historic Raly Championship." This would be the ultimate entertainment for Subaru fans, increasing their affection and respect for the Subaru brand and further enhancing its value.

If you'd like to see Toshihiro Arai driving his Impreza 555 on a prestigious European SS course, we would greatly appreciate your support for this project.
